Okay. So, this one started out about two years ago in an irrational need to throw Lucifer Box at Adam Adamant and see what happened. (I had a fairly shrewd suspicion). Then somewhere along the way it sprouted a plot. Whoops. In any case - spies. White tie. Innuendo. Derring-do. Sword sticks. Implausibly sudden sex. It's all in here.

Incidentally - I'm not entirely convinced by the title. It's a good title, I just don't think it's the title for this particular story. All suggestions for alternative titles will be welcomed.

Now, I could have productively spent the evening trying to finish my Adam Adamant Lives! / Vesuvius Club crossover fic. But obviously making a rather poor cover for it was far more important. At some point I'll actually learn proper vector-tracing, and then I'll have to redo it...
